Seminar: Mapping learning and using rubrics to align learning outcomes to instruction and assessment

The Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education (CYQAA) announces its Seminar on Mapping learning and using rubrics to align learning outcomes to instruction and assessment, delivered by Dr Dr. Samira El Boudamoussi, ETH Zurich.

The keynote speaker and workshop facilitator Dr Samira El Boudamoussi is an education specialist with experience in various institutions of higher education across Europe. Her main focus is on teaching and learning in higher education, curriculum transformations, assessment, and interdisciplinary education. Currently, she is leading a curriculum development project at ETH Zurich. In her previous role as a senior strategic teaching fellow in sustainability education at Imperial College London, she led the curriculum review processes and redesign of the Master's programme in Environmental Technology.

Before joining Imperial College London, Samira El Boudamoussi worked as a pedagogical advisor in higher education at the University libre of Brussels. She also worked as a Project Manager for the International Panel on Social Progress (IPSP), a joint initiative of Princeton University and the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in Paris.

Samira El Boudamoussi graduated as a chemical engineer from Morocco and obtained her PhD in education sciences from Spain. She speaks Berber, Arabic, French, English, Spanish, and German.

The seminar will take place in February 15, 2024 ( 9.00 - 13.30 (EEST)) at Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia.

The seminar is addressed to higher education institution’s representatives. Participation is limited to 2 (two) representatives per institution.
