Michalis Challoumis

Michalis Challoumis was born in Nicosia in 2001. He graduated from Vergina High School. He is a Post Graduate Student in the Department of Law at the University of Nicosia.

He has been an active member of the student community in Cyprus since the beginning of his high school years. He was actively involved in student unions and he was the President of the District Student Coordinating Committee in Larnaca in the school year 2018-2019 and a Member in Pancyprian Student Coordinating Committee.

Additionally, since 2021 he is the President of the Student union “Protoporia” of the University of Nicosia. At the same time, he is an elected Member of the Student Union of the University of Nicosia where he holds the position of the Treasurer since 2022. He is also the elected student representative of the Department of Law at the University of Nicosia

Additionally, he is an active volunteer in various non government organisations (NGOs).

 

He was appointed as a member of the Council of the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education in September 2022.
