Erato Ioannou

Erato Ioannou - Moustaka joined CYQAA soon after it was established in 2015 and is currently serving as the CYQAA Coordinator. Her tasks within CYQAA include: to manage the work of the Agency, to act as secretary to the CYQAA Council, and to support and coordinate CYQAA’s internationalization. She is also responsible for statutory and planning duties of the Agency. She previously worked at the Department of Higher and Tertiary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, where she was actively involved in higher education policy developments and reforms at national level, higher education internationalization and international cooperation. Within the Ministry, she also managed European funded projects. Erato holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature (ΒΑ) from the University of Cyprus, a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing (MFA) from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a Master’s in Public Sector Management (MPSM) from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Erato is also a writer. Her work has been published in Cyprus, Greece, the United Kingdom and Romania.
