Andreas Charalambous
Dr Andreas Charalambous is Professor and Executive Vice President for Health, of the University of Nicosia ( UNIC Health). He served as Foundation Executive Dean of the Medical School from 2011 until July of 2022. He is a US-trained anatomist and medical educator with a strong record in higher education development and internationalization.
He holds an undergraduate and master’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and a PhD in Anatomy / Neuroscience from The Ohio State University.
He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Pathology, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and during his career, has served in various academic and administrative capacities such as Department Chair, Dean and Vice President.
