CYQAA’s Inclusion on the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR)
The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA) is pleased to inform you that, the Register Committee, after a thorough scrutiny of the Agency’s external evaluations, has decided to include CYQAA on the European Quality Assurance Register.
Since its establishment, CYQAA based its external evaluation activities on the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) and its inclusion on the Register constitutes a significant milestone towards its local and European recognition and further development.
CYQAA pursued its evaluation by EQAR, in order to ensure the quality of its work and this evaluation constitutes an integral part of its broader self-awareness and accountability.
As an EQAR registered Agency, CYQAA is competent to conduct external evaluations of higher education institutions outside Cyprus.
